NAKAD – Prestige Des Coteaux

The grapes used to produce the Château des Coteaux are planted on the hillsides of the Bekaa, a valley situated between Mount-Lebanon and the Anti-Lebanon Mountains, peaking at more than 1000 meters above sea level. The vineyard was first cultivated in 1923 by Joseph Nakad. The clay-limestone soil contains gravel, improving the quality of the grapes and expressing the natural character of the terroir tastefully. The day's heat and the night's freshness are balanced by the limestone's action, which captures heat and warms the vines during cold nights.
